The Key Features Brief identifies a number of areas where additional study is recommended to ensure that adequate knowledge and information is available to attain the objectives of the Program. This Further Studies Report provides additional detail for the recommended studies, so that the Program can make an informed decision whether or not to proceed with these studies.

The three areas, which were identified for additional study were:

�� Geotechnical Investigations;

�� Bathymetric surveys; and

�� Morphological modelling.

This report does not address the need for additional environmental studies, which may be needed for obtaining the necessary statutory approvals for the Program. This aspect is dealt with elsewhere by the Environmental Consultant for the LESMP.
