Program Funding Announced
On 10 November 2005, the Minister for Environment and the Minister for State and Regional Development jointly announced the $31.5 m funding for the Lakes Entrance Sand Management Program. The funding was included in the State Government's economic statement for provincial Victoria - Moving Forward.

Stage 1 of the Lakes Entrance Sand Management Program involves six projects between 2006 and 2011.
